TPS65910 VDD2 datasheet discrepancies

Hello:

I see the following table from the datasheet p27, table 2 fixed boot mode 00

VDD2_OP_REG/VDD2_SR_REG = VDD2 voltage level selectiion for boot = 1.1V.

But on table 2 page 29 it has VDD2=3.3V.  They appear to contradict one another for VDD2 voltage level.  Can you explain further or can you tell me which is correct?

At the root of all this, I don't understand what this table 2 is telling me.  Can you clarify both points for me (what the table means and if there is an error in the voltage level, which is correct)?

Thank you

  • Hi Frank,

    Thanks for your post.

Your comment is absolutely valid "On page 27 datasheet  table 2 fixed boot mode 00. VDD2_OP_REG/VDD2_SR_REG = VDD2 voltage level selectiion for boot = 1.1V."

but there is another bit VGAIN_SEL right below "VDD2_OP_REG/VDD2_SR_REG " in the table which shows the gain is set to "3". This bit scales the VDD2 3 times.

It is just a differnt way bits are presented but there is no discrepency in the table.
