I want to simulate the supercapacitor charger bq24640 with PSpice.

Are there spice- or pspice-models available for this ic?

I have an additional question to the bq24640.

Is there a need of a current limiter on input side, or is the input current limited through the ic themselve in case of overload or short circuit?

bq24640 has output current limit and short protection. But, it doesn't sense and regulate the input current. The bq24610 has input current DPM.
