Dear sirs,
I have my own BQ51013 receiver board based on the BQ51013 EVM from TI.
If I leave the BQ51013 5v output floating, I can see that the transmitter start-up, it detects the receiver and the Transmitter indicates that the power transfer is working by blinking the D2 light Green. In that situation, the OUT of the receiver is 5v.
If I repeat the same but now with a 50 Ohms resistor connected to the 5v OUT of the BQ51013, then the transmitter blinks once the D2 Led Green and after that, the D2 blinks in orange. After some tries, the transmitter finishes putting D2 in Red Color. The OUT of the receiver is now 0v.
With that resistor as load, I'm loading with 100mA and the EVM supports in theory up to 1A.
I have the ILIM of the BQ51013 to 1A with a resistor to ground on ILIM pin of 220R.
Regarding the TS_CTRL pin of the BQ51013, I have the same configuration as eVM, a voltage divisor with a 20K to VTSB in series with 10K (47.5K // 12K7) to ground. That is the JP3 in DISABLE state.
Please, any body knows what is wrong ?
