I can not save a *.senc file with the EV2400 and a Windows 7 computer. I can with a EV2300 and a window 95 system. I get a an "Error in reading flash: VB_UNKNOWN Flash content may be incomplete." A second screen appears "Error reading flash! Error code (decimal)= 100"

Using the same steps , unlocking the pack, placing BMS in ROM mode, READ TO A FILE. The same procedure works ONLY with the EV2300.

Any ideas?

Can you provide the following details?

1. Protocol : SMB or I2C

2. Product from which senc file is being read

We are seeing this same problem when extracting senc files. We are using a EV2400 and a Windows 7 machine. We have attempted extractions from a bq20z45 and a bq20z70.

Our solution has been to use, instead, a Windows XP machine with an EV2300.

I can also confirm this problem

-Windows 7

-EV2400

-SMBus

-bq20z65

I have no access to winXP, any way to accomplish creating a .senc file on windows 7

Did you uninstall the drivers for the EV2400, or just run the application you linked to?

Did this work for the 2400 or just the 2300?

After getting this driver running you were able to export a .senc file, or was there something else you needed to do before you were able to?

Sorry about this....your post showed up in my inbox and I obviously didn't read it very carefully before responding.

Please ignore that response, it was a resolution to a different issue.

Exporting .senc files with a EV2400 on Windows 7 64-bit with bqEVSW 0.9.86 still results in VB_UNKNOWN error.
