We'd like to design the LP3943 into our new product line. Specs say it's only available in a small, square SMT package, which makes it tough to connect to our prototype circuit and I2C microcontroller. We do have the LP3943 Evaluation Kit, but that's designed to interface with the parallel port of a PC.
What'd be the best way to try out this chip in our own circuit with our own microcontroller? Might there be a breakout board, etc. for this package? Can we modify the LP3943EVM to run off I2C? Thanks in advance.
