Hi,Eric
Excuse me I may not have my question described clearly...
Can I double chk again,
for comply with 60w over 4 pairs UPoE Cisco switch in hardware circuit ,
we need two TPS2379 chip + dcdc, or one TPS2379 chip + dcdc, and why?
Thanks.
The TPS2379EVM circuit as designed can support a 60W load using a single TPS2379. TPS2379 provides the converter ON/OFF signal (CDB). You would have to add the dc/dc to the TPS2379 circuit as well as the PHY and supporting software to handle the LLDP communication (and any UPoE required software) with the PSE (TPS2379 doesn't do that part).
