Hi,

I am using BQ27200 for battery fuel gauging. It has EEPROM which stores some of the parameters needed for calculating the battery capacity and other parameters. What will be the default values in the EEPROM if we do not program the EEPROM? Is it absolutely necesssary to program this EEPROM? Is there any workaround for this?

Yes, you MUST program the EEPROM with customized values to match your battery and configuration. The default values can not match any system or battery since there are too many possible combinations and every battery is slightly different.

Can you tell me which parameters need to be programmed and which ones are optional? It's not clear to me from reading the datasheet.
