Hi,
Should TPS54325 output recover from short automatically? I guess that it should, as it is stated in the datasheet that the over current protection is not latching.
I have the TPS54325 mounted in a board and I observe the following:
1) TPS54325 starts up fine after rasing edge of EN pin, nevertheless when the output is shorted, the output is stuck at 0 V endlessly even though the short is removed (EN pin continues HIGH).
2) In this situation, if EN pin is set consecutively LOW (disabled) and HIGH (enabled), the output goes to the desired value.
What could be happenning? As indicated in the datasheet, output under-voltage protection circuit could be activated, but I do not know wheter it is latching.
We are very happy with this switcher regulator and we are interested in solving this issue.
Thank you,
Llorenç
