I am getting to a design with the bq27510 and have several questions that I haven't found an answer for in these forums/online:
1) Can bqEASY be used with bq27510? It seems that different gauge support different algorithms, some are simpler to setup. I have installed the bq Eval software bq20z45R1. Is this the correct version? I also installed a battery chemistry pack update that was available on the bq27510 product page and I found the chemistry for my battery.
2) I have an EV2400 device. Is it possible to obtain the MSP430 source code that enables communication with the bq device using the MSP430?
3) What is the relevant literature that is applicable to the bq27510 as far as going through the whole process of setting up the device? I see a lot for other devices but it is sometimes unclear as to whether it is applicable to that particular device.
