bq27541 Qmax update condition

According to SLUA450, the Qmax calculation does not occur in any condition.

Qmax calculation does not occur if at least one of voltage measurements for DOD1 or DOD2 was taken in the cell voltage range between 3737 mV and 3800 mV.

And Qmax calculation does not occur if the temperature is above 40°C, or below 10°C.

These limit are chemistry dependent.

Please teach me about chemID 1117.

What is the condition that Qmax calculation does not occur?

  • The temperature limits are fixed at 40C and 10C for all IDs.

The voltage range is chemistry dependent, as you mentioned.

We cannot provide the specific range for all chemIDs on request, but as an example, for ID 1117 they are 3752 and 3804, so you can see that for typical LiCoO2 chemistries the flat region is about the same.
