Dear Friends,

I have used TPS61200 for driving LASER diode, basically my Power Management IC is powered through Single Cell 1.5V Li-ion Battery. I wanted to indicate level of battery is low by flickering of the LASER diode. Please guide me whether this feature is available in this IC (TPS61200) if so how to implement it.

Hi,

The TPS61200 is a boost converter; it does not have any indication on the battery voltage level. Are you planning to use the battery as a rechargeable battery? If that is the case, you may need to consider a battery charger IC with the charge status indication.
