Is it possible to apply a Voltage at Vout, at no input voltage at Vbat ?
In that case what Voltage the device is able to withstand ?
Is the internal Regulator reverse battery protected ?

Applying a voltage at Vout does not send current into the IC. All the current goes through R3 and R4 to ground.
I ran the voltage at Vout up to the pin's maximum voltage (7V). The device still functioned properly when a voltage was applied to Vin instead of Vout.
I do not understand the question about the internal regulator being reverse battery protected. Could you elaborate?
