Bq27541 "Target not in ROM mode" issue

Hello David and Ming,

 

I'm meet the bq27541 V200 device unable to read/write SENC file issue. When these device in Gas Gauge mode, no anomalies were observed in SBS screen and GG file, calibration also no problem.

After send 0x000f command to address 0x00 at Pro page, the device enter bootROM mode (SBS show communication error, same as good one), then do read or write SENC file action, the device repsond "Target not in ROM mode", then stopped. But the device can return to gas gauge mode after click :Execute Program on bq8032" button.

 

Have everybody met the same issue at before? Could you please tell us what is root cause?
