I have an application for TPS65165 , but I need to be able to control the brightness with PWM.  Do yo know if TI has any recommendation to use a PWM on this part to control the brightness of LCD?  Are there other similar parts that would support PWM dimming?

    John,

    There are a couple of ways to do PWM dimming, PWM on the EN pin and PWM into the FB. PWM on EN has limitations with your slow start. PWM into the FB has limitations with the loop response of the regulator. Both you will need to watch out for switching in the audible frequency range.
