EV2300 compatibility problems with BQ77PL900 Software

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ77PL900

Hello,

I am using a BQ77PL900 battery management chip and I have bought the EV2300 module in order to communicate with a PC thanks to the I2C.

However, after having installed the driver and the BQ77PL900 software the EV2300 seems not to be recognized by the software. The EV2300 is recognized by windows when I connect it.

Is there an update/module for the BQ77PL900 software in order to communicate with the EV2300 or a firmware loader for the EV2300 which could correct this problem ?

Cordially.

  • The bq77PL900 has only the 1 software and communicates through the EV2300.

There are several drivers for the EV2300 depending on the operating system.  Please see the tool page at http://www.ti.com/tool/ev2300 or search the e2e for other versions which may be applicable to your situation.

If you have not already solved this issue, please provide more details on the system and error status and the EV2300 experts may be able to identify the problem.
