Who does TI recommend for design services on high power AC-DC power supply designs? Requirements are 85-264VAC, 400-800W out at 24VDC with 85%+ efficiency. Are there a few firms that have experience with TI/Unitrode parts: UCC28070PW, UCC28950PW, etc.?

Are there any firms out there that have experience with TI/Unitrode PWM controllers? How would a customer go about finding a firm with design experience in these devices?

I might be able to find you what you are looking for but I have some questions first;

Do you have a target BOM cost? Number of units per year?

Do you have a foot print of which you need to fit inside?

What are the options for heat management? Will this need to be enclosed? Are fans and fan noise an issue?

Do you need to meet; a PFC, THD or other spec?

Would you rather have this discussion of line?

I've made a PFC 85-264VAC (400V out) with a following LLC RC converter (162V out) with a overall efficiency above 93% at 510W. It was never tested to 800W though it was designed to 800W (due to lack of load resistors).

Efficiency was above 90% from whole range 90-250VAC at 510W output.

It's based on UCC28061 (PFC) and UCC25600 (LLC).
