Following the link here: http://www.ti.com/tool/gasgaugechem-sw to download the latest Chemistry Updater. Open bqEASY (the chemistry tab) and see if you can find the battery model from our data base.
If not, you will need to run a chemistry selection test. From the product web page, you can find a Mathcad Chemistry Selection Tool link (http://www.ti.com/litv/zip/sluc138aa). Follow the instruction to run the chemistry selection test. If you don't have Mathcad, you can send us the datalog and we can run the data and inform you if a match is found.
If there is no match found (error > 3%), we will need to get the battery and the battery spec from you and create a new chemID for the chemistry. It will be a ~4 to 6 weeks process in that case.
