After some testing I believe we have changed the resonsnance of the coil/board and our I_sesne looks different.

Should my I_sense waveform on bq500210evm be a square wave? Currently our unit shows step rise then exponential decay?

I-Sense should be a clean DC level when in power transfer---but you are in analog ping and digital ping mode. Compair your circuit with the EVM.
