TPS92310 Calculation tools - 8W AC/DC Design

Hi all,

I would like to know if i design 8w AC/DC isolated LED driver, driving 4LEDs at 650mA, Vf around 12V - 12.4V, is that feasible?

The calculation tools V1.3 does not allow us to select 4 LEDs, (only 5-11). Help needed.

Here is a link to a GU10 reference design which uses 4 LEDs at 350mA. (http://www.ti.com/tool/pmp4337). I am checking into the limitation of the calculator tool (why it can only support 5 LEDs), but I think you can get some ideas by reviewing the PMP4337.

Thanks you John.

Customer is re-looking into the design by changing the R15 and R16 resistor value and changing the inductor ratio to 150:16:32.

An update has been made to the calculator spreadsheet to consider designs with 4 LEDs.

The tool is now version 1.3 (REV A).
