Hello there,

Would like to check if UCC28700 switching frequency will have any interference with Smartphone & Tablet touchscreens?

As so far we know that Generic USB charger causes interference to Smartphone & Tablet touchscreens but not sure about UCC28700.

Any advise if welcome and much appreciated.

Hi,

I am working with UAV where I need this chip to work with 1000watts input power. Would it be feasible with this chip?

No this part is not suitable for use in a 1kW power supply.

In that case can u suggest me any switching regulators that would work with 1k watt power supply. It's really important as it haa to go on the UAV.

The best place to start is to check out the reference designs in

http://www.ti.com/general/docs/refdesignsearchresults.tsp?powerlabflag=Y&keyMatch=powerlab&tisearch=Search-EN

You will need to know your input voltage range, output voltage/current, any size constraints, efficiency requirements etc. You may not find an exact reference design but the results will guide you towards the type of topology you should use.
