bq27x00’s temperature for CACT?

Hi,

There is no pin associate for thermistor on bq27x00. For the temperature compensated capacity CACT, does bq27x00 has an internal thermistor or temperature A-D sensor for measuring the temperature?

Another question is that in SLUA338, when DCMP<=DCMPADJ,

CACT= CACD – (TCMP - TCMPADJ)

But in bq27x00 datasheet CACT = CACD – TCMP. Which one should be followed?

The temperature reported by the bq27x00 is based on IC internal temperature sensing. It is used for the CACT compensation.

Thanks for the answer. There is still another question: Does CACT= CACD – (TCMP - TCMPADJ) [SLUA338] or CACT = CACD – TCMP[Datasheet]?
