TPS56221 BP regulaotor

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS56221

I want to use TPS56211 for Virtex5 FPGA core power supply, input is 5.3V, output is 1V, current>15A.

The chip support 4.5V input, but when I check the diagram, I found there is a regulator called BP regulator, from spec, this regulator minimum output voltage is 6.8V, if I use 5.3V input, is there any matters I should take care of ?

In many regulators, this BP output come from a LDO, is this a LDO in TPS56211 too?

From spec, the VVDD–VBP>0.125V, but VVDD=4.5V whereas VBPmin=6.8V, seems controdictory.

BP REGULATOR                                                                                        min   typ     max
VBP Output voltage                  IBP = 10 mA                                                 6.2   6.5     6.8 V
VDO Regulator dropout voltage, VVDD – VBP  IBP = 25 mA, VVDD = 4.5 V             70     125 mV
