For one of our customers I have recommended controller TPS2490 as a Current Limiter. From my opinion the information in the Datasheet it is clear. But the customer still in a doubt that the controller provides real Current limiting and not disconnecting the load at specified current level. Can you confirm?
And another question: from datasheet I understood that in current limiting mode The external MOSFET drives by analog signal not PWM. I is important.
