Half-bridge converter using LM5039

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5039

Hello,

I have designed a half-bridge dc/dc converter using the LM5039 to regulate the output voltage. The output voltage is 24V and the output current is 20A. Unfortunately, when i rise the output current to more than 6A, the system gets unstable and the controller is not able to regulate anymore the output voltage which drops well below the 24V (18V approximately). As i am using this type of control for the first time, i am not sure of the compensation network i have designed.  I have taken care of providing sufficient excess margin and phase margin, and the bandwith is 5kHz for a switching frequency of 50kHz. Are there any other parameters i should have considered while designing the compensation network?

Maybe you could give an e-mail address so i could send you  the schematics of my design.

Thank you for your time,

Best regards,

RC
