Hello,

I am studying the appnote of BQ2050: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slua021/slua021.pdf. The VCC of the BQ2050 is derived from Bat+ terminal. Battery is of supplying 12V, how can BQ2050 survive as its operating voltage is 4.5V max? The 100 Ohm resistor doesn't seems to be dropping voltage of battery to be usable as VCC for BQ.
