We are reading an idcode of 3009002F from TPS65930A2 and 1009002F from a TPS65930B via the I2C interface. It would appears the TPS65930A2 has a new silicon version. Is that correct?

I found this information in an ealier version of the TPS65930 data manual:
Table 1-5. Silicon Version Number
Silicon Version Number / IDCODE_31_24[7:0] Register Value
ES 1.0 / 0x00
ES 1.1 / 0x10
ES 1.2 / 0x30
Does that help?
Jake
Is this true?
TPS65930B is ES 1.1 / 0x10
TPS65930A2 is ES 1.2 / 0x30
I was expecting the "A" version to be the older one?
I wouldn't get too hung up on the part number. When I look at the product page, TPS65930BZCH is OBSOLETE, replaced by TPS65930A2ZCH , so regardless of age, the A2 is the one to use.
Jake, Tom,
i confirm, B version is the ES1.1 and A2 version is the ES1.2.
This is specific to this device, for all otehr devices B version is newer than A one.
