Hello:

In TPS65950 audio part, ALC_CTL Register(0x2B),bit3, MAINMIC_ALC_EN, there is no discription of this bit. Is it mean Main microphone ALC control always on? Can MAINMIC_ALC_EN be turned off?

And what is the ALC mode control "Interlock" ?

    Hello,

     

    ALC is disabled by default and must be enabled by software:

    MAINMIC_ALC_EN description is:

    0x0 Off

    0x01 On

     

    I will check the purpose of the interlock mode and will come back to you soon.

    Hello,

     

    regarding the interlock feature.

    Both main mic and submic have theALC feature, both can work at same time and ALC will change the gain looking at each input amplitude separately.

    If the interlock feature is enabled, ALC will only monitor the Main mic inpuit amplitude(main mic is master) and will configure teh gain for both main mic and submic path(submic is slave).
