Hi ,

Can any one suggest how to limit the current to 500mA in LMR14206 part, this is for mobile charger application based on 12V lead acid battery and step-down to 5V need to limit the current to 500mA.

Hi Datta,

You can try to add the following circuit (in red) to pull up on the feedback pin at lower current than the internally set current limit:

Please try this in your application and see if it works for you.

R(fb_top) must be connect AFTER R(current_sence). To V(out).
