I would like to know form one of the TI developers:

When running 2 TPS84259's in parallel:

I suppose it would be best to run the TPS84259 perfectly out of phase and then combining the output with a or-ing diode? I.E. Use an external clock for syncing the the TPS84259's, one getting the in-phase(0 degree) component and the other out of phase component (180 degree)?

Hi Johan,

The TPS84259 is not recommended to be paralleled for current sharing.

In order to ensure that they will start up and share correctly, certain control pins of the devices must be connected. These pins are not made known on the TPS84259.

We would need to build up an application circuit and test this operation. Until then, we cannot recommend to parallel for increased current.
