Hi Team!

What is the difference between the BQ27541-V200 and the BQ27545? As far as I can tell, the only differences are the package, larger FLASH.

Is there a situation where one would be more beneficial than the other?

Here is a change list of 541-v200 with 541-G1

For your question, refer to the change list to see what differed from 541-v200 to 541-G1. The 541-G1 is more comparable to the 545-G1 with the exception that the 545-G1 is on the CSP, has a chip enable pin and the HDQHibernate feature.
