I am just using the TPS2500 in a prototype device. I want to supply a max. USB current of ~290mA (Iaux is 0). My calculations lead me to a 133kOhm resisitor for Ilim which lead to a minimum USB current of ~138mA according to the formulas. Now when I measure the point of overcurrent, the chip disables the voltage at ~70mA of load current. I cannot figure out where the bug is. Any suggestions?
