TPS53315 Not working and need my schematics to be verified

Hi all,

I am using TPS53315 in my design. I am giving 12v input and 5v output from power module. I am getting 5V on Vreg,800mv in Vtrip, 0V in PGOOD,0V in Vfeedback and i am not getting voltage output from the module. I tried all the ways and could not find the issues. But, i am requesting to you all that my design schematics to be verified. So, please verify it and give your comments at the eraliest.

Hi Magalingam,

Could you tell me the DCR value of the 1uH inductor? Are C33, C34 100uF cap ceramic?

Really thank you for your reply. Below is the reply for your question.

For 1uH Inductor,

DCR value of Typical @25C is 9mOhm
DCR value of Maximum @25C is 10mohm

C34 and C34 are CAPACITOR CERAMIC, 100UF, 16V, X5R, 20%

Please reply as soon as possible. I am stuck up with this issue now.

Hi N,

I could not find any major issue from schematic. I have following suggestions: 1. Remove R46(187k) to set 500kHz switching frequency, 300kHz might have large ripple current. 2. Increase R42 to 3.01kor higher to lower the the injection ripple. 3. Change C40 to 100pF to lower injection ripple. 4. Start up with no load first since you only have one C37 22uF cap which should be not enough for 5V/8A. I attached design spreadsheet for your reference.
