WIRELESS CHARGER SPEC

Hi ,

Could you please help to answer questions as below? Thanks.

1,   Minimum Dimension for the coil at Rx
2.    Limitations (any clearance zone defined if coil is nearby metal parts/antenna etc.)
3. Any difference between Rx's location? (on the backcover, or in the battery pack)
4. What's the efficiency for the latest version?

About the 3rd question, I do remember TI provide a different solution for battery pack.
Please send us the related file for reference.

Thank you~

BR,

Driscoll

  • 1.) Minimum Dimension for the coil at Rx?-----No min or max dimension for RX coil-- Based on the WPC specification, but not good design practice

2.) Limitations (any clearance zone defined if coil is nearby metal parts/antenna etc.)?---None in the spec—but the shield part of the coil should cover as much as possible.

3.) Any difference between Rx's location? (on the backcover, or in the battery pack)---The Z distance (top of coil to RX interface surface) should be 0mm to 2.5mm.—The closer the better and backcover is better than battery pack.

4.) What's the efficiency for the latest version?—This information can be found in Data sheet and EVM User’s Guide
