I made the following circuit with switcher pro and the TPS40200:
It is running on 300 kHz. is it possible to change this to 100kHz?
This because i need to lower the input voltage to about 5.5V which is not possible with 300kHz and the max dutyclycle of the part.
SwitcherPro recommends to use TPS40170 for my supply, but this part is ~2.5x as expensive, so I would like to use the TPS40200. Or is the TPS40200 and bad idea?
Note: main specifications required are 5.5V to 36V input and 5V 2.5A output.
