EVSW - what is the correct version for autodetecting bq20z45_R1?

Dear all,

I am currently using EVSW 09.79 that works fine on a Windows Vista operating system and there is no problem autodetecting bq20z75 V 1.60 or bq20z75 V 1.80.

I want to evaluate the bq20z45_R1 sinse I have been recommend to test this version in our application, but I have problem autodetecting the board.

I have tested EVSV 09.64 that autodetects bq20z45_R1 but that version will not autodetect bq20z75. Hopefully there exists a version for Windows Vista that works for both types.

Any info will be very much appreciated

    Kjell,

    It should still auto-detect your bq20z45. You should try rerunning the bqEVSW setup file for the bq20z75-R1 to make sure that all of the files have been updated.

    That was a good idea. 

    Normally I do not like to install on sw "on top of the other" - but this time it worked fine. Having a 09.79 installed and then running the sluc157 (setup for 09.64) did the job. Now I have autodetect of both bq20z45, bq20z75 V 1.60 and V1.81.

    If I tried installing the 09.64 first and 09.79 "on top" then it would not work at all.
