bq27510 configuration

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ27510

I am confused by bqeasy 2h step, there is a "what's the value of  the current sense resistor" configuration . what's it's meaning? the dafualt value is 10 MΩ . my thermistor is 10KΩ (103-AT),is it mean i need to set this value 0.01MΩ?

some one help?

  • You might be confusing the thermistor and the sense resistor.  The thermistor is used to measure the temperature and the "current sense resistor" is in series with your cell to measure the current flow.  The current sense resistor in the bq27510 EVM is 0.01 ohms (component R1) so the default of 10mΩ is okay in bqEASY if you are using the EVM.  If your system uses a different value of sense resistor, then you need to change the value in bqEASY.
