    EXTPWR is an output of the BQ24741.  It is active (low) when the adaptor voltage is above the threshold programmed on the ACDET pin OR the input current is greater than 1.25A.

     

    The system connection goes to power your load.  The BQ24741 will power your load from the adaptor and/or the batteries.
