BQ24610 work with 30 V DC

Hello,

Is it possible to bq24650 worked at the voltage 30 V DC in normal configuration. I think to protect only Vcc by the zener  diode on  28 or 30 V.

    Please refer to the data sheet for the specs.

    Work and reliable are two different terms.

    The switching waveforms have ringing due to the "wiring" inductance and the peak voltages must be less than the absolute max rating.

    Line and load transients cause abnormal voltages along with hot plug activity, that should be accounted for.
