PWRON in slave mode on TPS65930.

Hi all,

I have a processor module with DM3730 powered by TPS65930.

I have some issues about PWRON pin. I know that TPS65930 is configured as master mode. For my application, I wants DM3730 boot, when pwron button is pressed, instead detection a valid Vbat.

My question is:
Is it possible on master mode?

    Adriane,

     

    this is not possible on the first supply insertion but this is possible on all folowing power insertion if you have a backup battery present.

    After first boot, clear STARTON_VBAT bit in CFG_P1_TRANSITION, CFG_P2_TRANSITION, CFG_P3_TRANSITION registers.

    configuration will be saved thanks to backup battery and PMIC will not start on next main power insertion
