What ever happened to the BQ24310/12?

I attended the '07 TI Portable Power Design Seminar and the BQ243xx family of protection ICs were described. The programmable overvoltage versions were the BQ24310/12, but they've never been released. Are there any plans to release these two devices?

bq24310 and bq24312 originally had programmale OVP function. However, the accruacy of this function did not meet our 3% target in silicon. Therefore, we decided to release versions with fixed OVP thresholds instead.
