Is there any way to change the Default chem ID in the 28550 to something else?

I would like to update the OCV table.

    The bqEVSW does not offer the option to change the ChemID on CEDV devices, because the OCV table is only used one time. It sets an initial remaining capacity after power-up and the default table is usually acceptable. Subsequent FCC updates are made through discharge cycles.

    If you need to update the OCV table, then we can do it for you.

    If I am going to use this device I will need the OCV tables updated.

    Currently since I am using a LIFEPO4 cell with a much lower open load voltage every time I reset the device it comes up at 0 capacity.

    This would be a problem in manufacturing I don't want to have to charge the cell to full before shipping.

    The other option for me it to wait for the BQ28Z560 and use the IT algorithim instead.

    Do you know when the BQ28Z560 will be available?

    Any other comments?
