Question for bq20z45 circuitry

Dear all,

based on bq20z45 recommand circuitry, GSRP and ASRP are connected to cell battery side. On PIN FUNCTION of bq20z45 datasheet. it just state that connect to one side of sense resistor. So is it necessary that GSRP and ASRP are connected to cell battery side?

Yes, it is important that GSRP and ASRP connect to the cell battery side. Otherwise, charge current will look like discharge current , and vice versa.

thanks for your answer. is there any way to inform TI that bq20z45 data sheet has mistake on system diagram. it shows GSRP connects to connector side, thanks!
