Team,
I am interested in using LM4120 for my application. I have a question regarding the output capacitance value on LM4120AIM-5.0. The datasheet for this device states the following:
We are using an X7R 47nF ceramic capacitor on the output of this device at present, but what isn't clear in the datasheet is whether tolerance stackup on the output capacitor plays a role in the capacitance that should be selected. For X7R I would expect a total of about 15% over my full operating temperature range, so 47nF becomes 54nF worst case. Does this imply that I should not be using a 47nF device and instead populate this with a 33nF device?
Thanks,
Ryan
