bq2084 - Can I do an Stylish EEPROM Read and Save?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQEVSW

We have a lot of different fuel gauges at play here. One design uses the bq2084.

We wish to do a capture of the EEPROm data, but we want it in a file, labelled nice and clean.

For now, all I can figure is a hex dump, then copy and paste into a file. Then all I have is a bunch of hex chop suey. No insights, no labels. It's the fuel gauge equivalent of a core dump.

There *IS* a clean way to capture those parameters, with nice labels, etc., and that is to do the EEPROM read on the bq engineering SW panel, and *then* do a screen capture of the gui.

Neither approach allows me to copy and manipulate labelled data into a spread sheet for archiving and analysis.

Anybody know a technique for getting a text file equivalent of what is displayed on my bqEVSW screen?

Thanks,
