Reading from BQ2084 Data Flash With Commands 0x51 and 0x52

Hello,

SLVA148A tells me it possible to read from dataflash by issuing these SMBus commands, however I get a NACK after sending any of the commands 0x50, 0x51...

Since the datasheet doesn't mention the existence of these commands... can someone tell me if I'm correct?

I have sealed my pack, does that mean I cannot send these commands anymore?

If so, what do I do to unseal it?

Only the SMBus commands listed in Table 3 of the datasheet are available when the device is sealed. 0x50 ... are outside of this range.

Okay. So, when I buy a new unsealed one, can I issue commands 0x50 and onwards?

If so... where are these documented?

You do not have to by a new device. I sent you the unseal codes. You can access the 0x50 and onwards commands after you unseal the device.

Can help me please? I have unsealed bq2084, but can not send command to bq? I am send 10 command - value 1130(4400) for change full charge capacity. But it not works? Can send me true commands or good instruction for I do it, and if my chip sealed ?how procedure to unseal this (code or........) in datasheet right ----------- 00 cmd i send 062b is it? Please if possible help me ,it very need for me, and forgive for my English

Aliyev,

Command 10 is used to read the Full Charge Capacity. You have to initialize FCC by writing the new data to the data flash. Are you using the bqEVSW? You can change the data using this program. The command 062b is used to seal the device. There are special codes required to unseal the device. Send me an email address and I will send the unseal codes to you.
