Really need your advice for bq24314 application design, my customer would like to unuse BATOVP function but it is difficult to change circuit becasue already Gerber out.
So they plan to H/W rework and they plan to connect VBAT(pin6) directly to /CE(pin5) because easy modification.
Currently /CE pin is floating for default enable, so if they connect VBAT pin to /CE pin, is it ok for this part w/o side-effect.
Please advice ASAP.
