We are facing an issue with PWRON key in our custom OMAP4460 and TWL6030 board, please find the details below.
Our system is a battery operated device with TWL6030 USB charger. It is capable of operating in USB power without a battery.
Use case 1:
System is powered with battery, power key long and short press works as per datasheet.
Use case 2:
System is powered with USB (battery is still present but system power is not sourced from battery), in this case also power key long and short press works as per datasheet.
Use case 3:
System is powered with USB and battery is not present, here power key long press (>10s) results in transition to WAIT-ON state but PWRON key short press is not bringing back system to active state.

We need to know why use case 3 is failing, as this is an important feature in our product. Please advice.
