Setting the recharge thresshold level for BQ 24103

We are using the BQ 24103 Li-Ion battery charger, the spec says that the Voreg is 8.4v for two cell batteries, the Vrch is typical 100mV/cell so 200mV, meaning that thw recharge theshold is around 8.2V. Battery cell vendors recomendthis should be droped to 7.8v. How can we change this recharge voltage to a lower level? Is there any expernal resistor or similar that can change this threshold? Thanks

there is no way to change this threshold, but if one has a micro, once the part has terminated, the CE pin can disable the charge and then enable it once the battery voltage has dropped to the desired voltage.

But as far as I know there is no function in the BQ24103 to measure the voltage, so we would need the micro to monitor voltage, and then enable CE correct?

Is there any similar charge ICs that have programable recharge voltage level ?
