Hi,
i have to build a fast, modulated current source from 230V and I am thinking about what architecture to use. The current source feeds a resistiv load with a light inductive component.
The average power is about 500W. The slewrate should not be less than 500V/ms or 150A/ms and the current is modulated form 100mA up to 25A peak (less than 20ms). I am thinking about a flyback-converter to solve the problem or does a different architecture regulate faster?
