We have developed one module of 36S1P lithium batteries. We use 6 BQ76PL536 to control the cells. We don't know why but sometimes the selfdischarge of the cells is very huge (I mean to discharge one cell of 40Ah in one month).
We have verified that if we send to sleep the BQ correctly the selfdischarge is normal, but sometimes in spite of send to sleep the BQ correctly, the selfdischarge is outsize.
Then How we can check if the BQ is in sleep? What can cause this selfdischarge?
